    Paul Jake Castillo is Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Big Winner? 

    Last Tuesday, Pinoy Big Brother Double Up viewers were surprised as the show revealed Paul Jake Castillo leading the Big Winner polls. However, Melissa Cantiveros and Jason Francisco fans are up for a competition, and can easily inch up the gap after five days of voting.

    With 10% lead over Melai and Jason, more known as the MELASON tandem, will Paul Jake be able to maintain the lead or will one of the frontrunners Melai and Jason snatch the title from him?

          i think melai should win. there is something in and about melai that I want to have and I want to be. MAsaya syang tao, very light, very positive ang outlook, hindi bitter or sour, hindi insecure. paul jake is okay, bright, well-bred, may leadership. but nothing really spectacular for me. he would even pale in comparison to rica. given na di rich, di maganda, at di matalino si melai her disposition is just something to be admired. she would shine and set herself apart even in where there are good looking, rich and intelligent people around. that may not be the same for paul jake.

      Melai deserves it. Not Paul Jake or anyone else.
      It isn't just a competition inside the house, it would be long over had Melai been around to keep millions of Filipinos hooked on their television sets every night.

      It was not just about competiton. It was about who among the housemates were loved by the people. And as we can see, the people still loves Melai, in or out of the PBB house.

    Paul Jake Leads PBB Double Up Big Win Polls in The Big Reveal 

    In a surprising turn of events, Paul Jake Castillo, better known as Paul Jake got the most number of votes as revealed by PBB Double Up in their primetime episode tonight, around 10:45 PM.

    As of 10:45 PM, Tuesday, February 9, 2010, here is the standing of the FINAL FIVE housemates.

    Paul Jake Castillo – 31.68
    Jason Francisco – 23.12
    Melissa Cantiveros – 20.70
    Johan Santos – 13.46
    Steve “Tibo” Jumalon – 10.81

    Also, the Big Five now knows that they are now competing with each other to be the Big Winner. The Big Winner will be announced on February 14, 2010 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, entitled “The Big Date at The Big Night”.

    There will also be a Big Night Concert and The Big Truth tomorrow. Kenyo along with Mcoy Fundales welcomed the Big Five after the Big Reveal.

    The FINAL FIVE was announced to the public when Mariel Sorino was evicted last Saturday.

      I for one am glad that Paul Jake has the lead…and yes you are absolutely right… Pbb is simply a competition. It's about a game of character and personalities. This house will churn whoever housemates may be inside the house…It will reveal what the housemate is really made of…It will show the viewers and allow them to relate with different personalities…And Paul Jake has it..He deserves to win…He is not as superstar as what others thought about Jason and Melissa but he showed us his strength and determination to win the game in his own silent way. As simple as that…Not so many gimiks compared to others who i think are "strategizing" to hard…

        But it looks like ABS will be giving this to Melai and Jason, thus the reveal of votes. I just hope that Paul Jake will still manage to get the lead until Saturday as he really deserves it.

      I totally agree with you that Paul Jake should win this game. Simply because he is a winner. He showed us his strength and determination to go for the win in his own silent way of competing. Jason and Melissa are just "strategizing" too hard lately…It's annoying. But honestly I do not have something against the two…In fact they also made me laugh at times…But this game is not about making people laugh…It is simply a game about character…It is about the stuff of which and what they are made of…And the people will decide in the end…

        I am supporting Paul Jake, because he deserves it. Kinda like Bodie last year, I think the one who made the best game should win this. The one who entered prepared, the one who has never let anything get on his mindset. Someone who represents intellect. And for me, Paul Jake should be the Big Winner.

      I don’t think that determination should be the criteria for winning pbb. I think it’s how people felt after watching the hm8s. After all, inasmuch as we vote for them, whoever wins will not seat for public service. Walang mayabang,walang tamad o kengkay…padamihan ng fans yan.

        So ano ang dapat maging batayan? Well, for me, at least, you have to play the GAME first to deserve the win. This is a game after all. This is not just a teleserye na sinusubaybayan. We shall all set our minds that this is a game and in a game, the best player should win. Yes, padamihan ito ng fans. But still, there will be people who will be voting for the person who they think should win – not just because of shallow reasons, but because he or she has the right to win this thing.

      If I had wanted to watch a show that was focused on competition, then I could have just turned my channel to Sports ESN or better yet just watched a basketball game.

      We are watching PBB not because we want to see who is the fittest and most competitive among all the housemates but because we want to be amused and entertained. We enjoy the show as it triggers a myriad of our emotions. What does Paul Jake offer to the public? His skills? His bossy ways? His anger? HIs brute force and rough attitude?

      Paul Jake does not even deserve to be a big winner. No Bully deserves such an recognition. He's nothing but a pea-brained rich brat (Oh yes! He always scores low on all games that need brains!), who loves bullying those people below him – those people who have lesser in life. I even wonder why they don't show all those instances when he was bullying, hurting physically and hurling abusive words to Jason and Melay. What right does he have to use a hanger, broom stick, slippers and his hands to hurt Jason? What right does he have to slap Isay and pull her hair so roughly? What right does he have to keep telling everybody that one person has ADHD, Bipolar, a Psycho?
      What right does he have to forcibly strip off the underwear of another housemate and forcibly exposed the the poor lad's private parts to the crowd?

      He is just a typical rich, snob, matapobre who loves putting down and shaming people who he knows couldn't fight? He is such a bad example of a PINOY WINNER. He doesn't have a Pinoy Heart at all.

        No I don't see it that way…In fact Paul Jake is also fond of Jason and Melissa. He is a good friend of Jason and Melissa. I don't think he is bullying them. I think they are just very close with each other with their four months stay inside the house. All of them are in fact deserving to be the big 5. Peace…

        This is a competition. Shallow ang view mo sa game, that's because you're fooled sa pinapanuod mo. You have to re-assess, boy. Pwede namang minagnify lang yang ganyang ugali ng isang tao sa program na yan no.

        Anyway, we have our own bets. Respect mines, and I'll respect yours.

        Yun lang, this is a game. That is why there is a pot money, dude. Ano pang pinaglalabanan dito? Bakit may perang involved? Kairita lang. Logic, boy.

        yes drew…Im thinking about what you said na "drama ng totoong buhay"…and guess it's still paul jake who deserves to win on this "drama-game" because just imagine that even if he is considered rich, PJ still manage to leave everything else behind just to join the audition on PBB. He is trying to prove something in his life that cannot be bought by money. He also has the right to win. Same with Jason and Melissa. They all have stories to tell rich or poor alike. Peace Man…

      At (pangalawa), mayabang naman talaga sya eh, di ba. Mayabang, arogante, bossy, feeling superior…yun ang nakita ko sa kanya. Hindi yan paninira ha. That's my OWN opinion. Keep in mind, everybody is entitled into their own opinion.
      Kasi nakikita ko especially kapag nanonood ako sa live streaming, kapag hindi sya sinusunod eh nanghahaya siya ng suntok, may sasabihing hindi maganda, mambabarubal etc… Minsan talagang inuupakan niya. Ganun ba siya. Oh sige, sabihin na nating normal yun sa kanya, pero hindi yun normal sa iba. Kaya simula nung nakita ko yun sa kanya, nawalan na ako ng gana. Ewan, dati tatahi-tahimik siya. Lalo na nung kasama pa nila sa House A yung ibang malakas ding housemates like Tom, Rob, Rocky,, I think even when Delio was still there. Pero nung nawala na, ay… hayun na. Umarangkada na siya. Parang ang dating en "walang kokontra kung ayaw niyong masaktan". Ganun! Kaya sang-ayon ako dun sa sinabi ni Melai na gusto niya eh one time makita niyang sumalungat si Tibo kay Paul Jake. Kasi namimihasa siya eh. Lumalaki ang ulo. Parang I think, I'll rather go with the personality Johan has. Kahit tatahi-tahimik or sabi nila playing safe, at least hindi nakakasakit.

      Si Paul Jake kasi parang si Wendy nung Season 2. Di ba ansama ng pinakita niyang ugali. Kaya hindi siya nanalo eh. Ganon ba yun? Gugustuhin manalo ang ganun? Oo, sabihin na nating pinakita ang tunay na kulay at ugali, eh masama naman. Eh dun na ko sa pinakita yung tunay na ugali na maganda or least yung masama. Ganun! Ano!! (with Jason's accent) hehe!

    Mariel Sorino Evicted from Pinoy Big Brother Double Up 

    Mariel Sorino, who garnered only 3.34% of the total votes for the Big Win, was sent packing tonight which just signaled the announcement of the Big Five composed of Melissa Cantiveros, Paul Jake Castillo, Jason Fernandez, Tibo Jumalon and Johan Santos.

    Suspected the highest with 28.68% of the total number of votes is Melai, the Inday Kengkay ng GenSan.

    The Struggling Mom from Davao have definitely made up from her bitchy days at the start of the season and left the house with such dignity she never had in herself before she went in the game.

    Melai in Big 5; Kath Lopena Evicted from Pinoy Big Brother Double Up 

    Nominees for this round are Paul Jake, Melai, Jason, Johan and Kath. Melai now enters the Big 5 as a twist awaits the final selection of the three remaining contenders for the Big Night.

    For the first time in the Pinoy Big Brother Double Up History, there will be a Big 5. So who’s your bet to be evicted next week? The Big Night is tagged as the “Big Date on the Big Night”, so we’re kinda sure of a Jason-Melai big win here. Eew. That sounds like Romber (Rob and Amber in Survivor: All Stars) all over again. They have kinda revealed the results for the Big Night with tonight’s eviction. Just add Mariel or Tibo, which are actually no bearing to the competition right now. Though, there is a big chance that Paul Jake can snatch the win from Melason.
