Oh snap, it’s holiday season once again and I haven’t found a gift for each of my family members for the upcoming thanksgiving day. Our family holds this every first day of the new year. This is because we believe that we shall embrace the new year with happiness and gratefulness of the blessings we had for the past year.

I’m thinking of buying my mother and sister necklaces from baraka jewelry. My father would probably love a Rolex watch and my brother, I’ll have to think about it first. A wallet, perhaps?

It’s the thought that counts, right?

The Philippine Azkalswill finally experience their most challenging match ever with their dream opponents, the 2011 Major League Soccer (MLS) Cup Champion the LA Galaxy. LA Galaxy together with soccer superstars David Beckham and Landon Donovan will be visiting Indonesia, Philippines and Australia for their Herbalife Asia Pacific Tour.

Philippine Azkals vs LA Galaxy:  Football is really getting the momentum it needs as the sport is becoming popular, though still very far behind the likes of basketball and boxing.
On December 3, our very own National Football Team or now more popularly known as the Philippine Azkals will face the Los Angeles Galaxy in a friendly match.  The game will happen at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The LA Galaxy is no push over of course, as it is one of the most popular football teams in the United States.  The reason of course is having the English football superstar David Beckham on its line up.
Aside of course from Beckham who said that he is very excited to be in the country and play against our boys, are two superstars who are also playing – Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane.  The presence of this two players come the December 3 match against the Azkals was personally assured by Galaxy president Tom Payne.
For the Philippines, expected to play are the Younghusbands, the striker Chieffy Caligdong, Simon Greathwich,  Ray Jonsson, Rob Gier, though the final line-up will be released by Coach Michael Weiss soon; maybe after he gets back from the 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia.

The tickets for this match are a bit pricey (ticket infos here), so for all those who cannot watch this game live at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, we could content ourselves with watching the game live on Studio 23.

David Beckham and Landon Donovan will lead the game on Saturday, December 3.  The recently concluded LA Galaxy vs Indonesia Match up resulted in a 1 – 0 win in favour of LA Galaxy.

On December 3, 2011 at 6:30pm Philippine Azkals will get a chance to showcase their talent against LA Galaxy in this friendly match dubbed as “The Dream Cup” which will be held at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

David Beckham and the LA Galaxy will play in an exhibition match against thePhilippine Azkals as part of Major League Soccer (MLS) Asian champion tour.  Galaxy is the newly crowned MLS Cup champion after defeating Houston Dynamo in a thrilling 1-0 win at the Home Depot Center last Sunday.

Beckham together with his LA Galaxy teammates the likes of Landon Donovanand Robbie Keane will arrive in Manila on December 1 to face the Philippine Azkals. The Azkals have been very successful in their campaign starting with a 2-0 win over a Vietnamese side in the Suzuki Cup last year that has created great interests in the sports. The Azkals have been a household name since then and made a name for the country in football. Three Fil-foreigners will be reinforcing the Azkals in their match against the Galaxy. These are Fil-British Chris Greatwich, Fil-British Rob Gier and Fil-Icelandic Ray Jonsson will be returning to the team after missing out some of the Azkals games this year.

The Galaxy – Azkals tickets are on sale right now since Thursday at Ticketworld. The tickets are priced at Php 5,000, Php 9,500, Php 10,500 and Php 12,500 for the exhibition match. Seat locations will also be available as tickets are sold.  Beckham and his troops will have their open practice on December from 9 AM to 11 AM and tickets will be available for this event at Php 3,000 for grandstand seats and Php 1,500 for the bleachers.

In the afternoon of December 2, LA Galaxy will conduct a football clinic limited only to 150 kids with a registration fee of Php 14,000 inclusive of jersey, shorts and soccer bag. It will be an opportunity for kids to play and train alongside their Galaxy idols like Beckham, Keane and Donovan.

Second Hand Caravans

For the past two weeks, I’m planning on buying a vehicle I can use so that it would be easier for me to transport from one point to another location.

With my job as an engineer, I really have to take this into account as bus fare and taxi fare is becoming a burden for me.

Good thing, I came across some second hand caravans over the internet. I decided to contact the seller and I am scheduled to go and check their product next week in their main office.

Hopefully, their products are of excellent quality so I won’t find any other – that would be a waste of time and money again.

I’ve been searching the internet for different gadgets I would like to purchase for my office at home. Aside from a high-tech camera, a Mac and an iPad, I would love to have a printer, photocopying machine and scanner all at one gadget. There are a lot of things to consider when purchasing these gadgets such as warranty, matching of the document imaging software and quality of the product. I really hope I’ll be able to find one that would be in my best interest given that I have an engineering background.

So excited for the next phase of my life! :)

Recently, I’ve been looking for different things I can do for my free time. I just graduated from college so I really have a lot of time in my hands, aside from attending board examinations review. Recently, I came across some websites about fishing and gardening and saw these awesome orlando fishing guides and gardening guides!

Looks like I’ve found the hobby that suits my lifestyle. Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep up with these hobbies so that I’ll feel satisfied in a few months or so.

I get easily irritated by the weather recently. It’s November, for Pete’s sake, and in a month’s time it’s the holiday season! It should not be this sunny! There was one time, it was cold; but it rained! Though it still gets freezing cold when dawn comes, it’s still hard to keep up with a climate like this.

Every morning, I wake up feeling fresh. I take a bath, go to work – and feel sweaty! With my Roberto Cavalli Sunglasses on, I feel like, I’m getting roasted under the heat of the sun. I’ve already used all my lotions with SPFs and moisturizers just to fight the rays of the sun! Good thing, I still look good. And my sunglasses add to the overall effect!

One thing you should know about me is that I am fond of anything sweet. I love desserts and that might be the cause why I grew this large! So when I came across a website with their company offering cupcake delivery nationwide! I didn’t hesitate to try it out especially because I don’t have to go to the store to order them! They will deliver them to our homes. Hopefully, their cupcakes would really set me in the mood for some action today! I really need some sugar rush after procrastinating for a few days.

Venezuela is Miss World 2011; Gwendolyn Ruais, Miss Philippines is 1st Runner-up - Tonight, the Miss World 2011 Finals was held in Earls Court, London. Puerto Rican representative ended up as 2nd Runner-up.

Gwendolyn Ruais, made it to the Top 30 in ninth place. She garnered the third highest score when fast tracks were included and ended up in the Top 15 semifinalists. She made it then to the Top 7.

Jessica Barboza, a placer in Miss Earth 2008, won 1st Runner-up, representing Venezuela. Mongolia, Panama and Puerto Rico complete the Top 5.

Miss Philippines Dianne Necio made it to the Top 15 of Miss International 2011.
