Rommel Sherwin D. Copuyoc is a TWENTEEN year old, incoming fifth year BS Mechanical Engineering Student from UP Diliman. Currently, he is residing at the Molave Residence Hall.

He finished his high school at a public science high school, a center of excellence in Central Luzon, the Regional Science High School – III. He finished his elementary course in Tabacuhan Elementary School in Sta. Rita, Olongapo City.

His close friends call him Kopee (Kops, Kopi and the like), primarily his highschool friends and his college barkada and some orgmates. For most of his acquaintances, he prefers the generic name Rommel. His relatives call him Wawin, a spinoff from his original nickname Rowin. He is most commonly known as Inghinyero in the bloggosphere.

He loves blogging, primarily enticed in webpage designing. Aside from this, he also likes writing for school-wide and dorm-wide and organizational publications. He doesn’t read much. Though at times, when he really likes to finish reading the book, he does it in one seating.

He’s fond of watching reality shows. Probably, this can be attributed to his interest in studying different people’s personalities.

He sings quite well. Though he’s not an excellent singer, he can carry a tune. He loves KTV-ing with his friends. He has a thing  for emo rock bands, but he also likes pop and a little bit of acoustic and alternative rock.  Along with that, he loves going to the arcades and spend some quality time together with his friends.

He is a lame dancer. The only type of dance he can execute quite well is Folk Dance.

He has high hopes of becoming an engineer someday and is very determined to lift his family to a better status.

He loves to eat though he’s trying to indulge himself in a diet for quite a few months now. He loves pasta. And capuccino- or mocha- flavored ice cream. Desserts! Fruitshakes, fruit salad and fruit ice creams never fail to make him happy.

He’s a dormbuddy. He loves hanging out in the dormitory with his dorm friends.

He’s also an orgbuddy. He loves organizational work but very much unreliable when it comes to school work.

He doesn’t have any sport but he likes watching volleyball and basketball games.

He is a member of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – University of the Philippines Unit and the University of the Philippines DOST Scholars’ Association. He was also the Editor-in-Chief of the dormitory publication, Kanlaon. He is also a member of UP PRIME, UP Zambalenos and is a supporter of Alyansa.
